A&C Electric provide an electrical contracting & maintenance service throughout Greater Belfast and Northern Ireland.

We can operate on measured terms or fixed price contracts for all forms electrical work including lighting design & installation, street lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, ventilation systems, data wiring & containment, periodic inspection & testing and portable appliance tests (PAT) .

We are happy to carry out the smallest repair to large installations with emergency call out and 24 hour service available.

History

Prestigious Contracts

The Company was originally founded in 1946 by Andrew O'Grady and Gawn Carse (Conn) and with a dedicated staff and employees has evolved over the years to where we are now.

The client list in the early days was based on government work, education bodies, private and farming clients, local authorities, building contractors and commercial end users. Many of these original clients still trade with us today.

ACCREDITATION
We have been members of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) since 1985 and latterly to cover a specialised field of Exhibitions and Events the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) 1996 and The Events Services Association (TESA) 1998.

With the formation of our sister company Event Technical Services in 2005 the latter two memberships transferred allowing AC Electric to concentrate on what it does best!

AC Electric Limited are accredited members of the NICEIC.

AC Electric are an Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Electrical Contractor based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We provide a design and installation service for any size electrical project requirements in the industrial, commercial and domestic sectors from routine maintenance and factory installations to domestic wiring and garden lighting.

We have previously worked all over Ireland and are willing to undertake work anywhere in Ireland and UK. We are happy to tender for individual contracts up to £500,000 at any time.
